Testimonials of Yacht Skipper Deliveries
“The first time we met was with the delivery of a Nauticat 38 “Sans Souci” from Port Polensa, Mallorca to Slovenia in July 1012. The new owner wrote me that he was excited to receive his new yacht in Slovenia on time as scheduled and cleaned thoroughly in the condition as he last saw it. For us as a Yacht Broker it is always good to hear that the client is satisfied with the completion of the delivery of the yacht from the first viewing until the handing over of the yacht.
The second time we met again in Portimao, Portugal, for the sea trial of a catamaran, Lagoon 400 “Josephine” onboard were the purchaser, the vendor, and the surveyor Mr Jeff Aylott of Atlantic Yacht Survey, you as the skipper and myself on the 24th May 2013. You managed to show the performance of the yacht, assist the surveyor with the survey and explain the yacht to the purchaser.
For the future I hope you will meet yachtsmen who appreciate and respect high end level Yacht management as provided by you and your company YS4U and we at Whites Yachts would love to work again with you with respect to future deliveries and Yacht Management.
Mr Arend Venema, Whites International Yachts, Port Andratcs, Mallorca Baleares
“Sven assisted me in moving my 21m classic gaff ketch down the Atlantic coast from A Coruna to the Canaries in the winter months of 2013. Conditions were varied and approximately 1000nm were covered. The yacht, built 1924, is rigged in a very traditional manner, and is quite a complex vessel.
“As a professional mariner myself, having sailed with and employed a great many of sailors and crew, I can say without hesitation that Sven is clearly in a league of his own. Some seaman are better sailors than others; Sven is a man of the sea, and may be depended on to get the job done, whatever is required. I would be delighted to sail with Sven, anywhere, anytime.”

“I employed Sven as skipper in August 2011. I found Sven to be very professional and was surprised by his qualities and initiative on the trip as well as his navigation both day and night.
“He proved to be a true mariner in all his responsibilities. I have provisionally re-booked his services in Sept 2011 for my Morocco trip with my son. In short, I would highly recommend his services and look forward to having him aboard again.”

“In March 2012, I contracted Sven Taylor of Yachtskipper4u to deliver a Beneteau 393 sailing yacht from Isla Canela in Spain to Valletta, Malta.
“The delivery was completed in a professional and timely manner, the boat arriving in Malta on 27 March after a ten day passage.
“A number of mechanical problems and breakdowns occurred during the passage which were completely outside of the control of Sven, but these problems were overcome and dealt with in a professional manner.
“On arrival in Malta I was given a full briefing of occurrences during the passage which was of great assistance to me in bringing the boat up to a fully seaworthy and reliable condition. I have therefore no hesitation in recommending Sven Taylor as a delivery skipper.”

“A few more things about the trip. We sailed on the 52′ “Meridian Splendor” for our honeymoon with Sven and Jaimee Taylor. An excellent boat and crew. We would highly recommend them. A fabulous experience and a great way of seeing the Caribbean islands. Jaimee’s cooking was outstanding. Sven was an excellent captain. They were both friendly and professional. No we didn’t get sea sick either.”
